Tea parties are the perfect solution if you prefer to host a party that is less involved than dinner, but a little more sophisticated than just cake. Some occasions where throwing a tea party might be ideal are baby showers, bridal showers, a retirement party, birthdays, or even just to catch up with friends. Regardless whether you are planning a casual get together, a garden party,or a more formal affair, here are some ideas to help make your occasion perfect.
Birthday Tea: Although I'm sure her teddy bears have had a great time sharing high tea with your little girl up until now, why not let your 5 or 6 year old daughter invite some of her friends to the table to celebrate her birthday like a "grown up". She'll love the idea of getting all dressed up and playing little princess with her friends. Plus, the added bonus for mommies: This is a great time for her to practice her table manners!
